Flexible Pathways
Throughout Term 2, our Year 11 and 12 students participated in a series of career information sessions as part of our Careers Program. These sessions were designed to help students explore a wide range of study and vocational pathways and to start thinking more confidently about their plans beyond OLSH College.
The girls heard from representatives across several industries and education providers, including Adelaide University, Flinders University and TAFE SA, who shared insights into university life, course options, and the skills students will need for future study. They also heard from speakers from different training organisations and employers who shared real world insights into lots of different careers.
These sessions helped students broaden their understanding of what’s possible after school and encouraged them to reflect on their strengths, interests, and goals. Many students commented that hearing directly from universities and industry professionals made the decision making process feel exciting.
Our OLSH College Career Expo will be held on Tuesday 29 July, and students from Years 8–12 will have the chance to speak with universities, TAFE, and many other training providers to explore a wide range of post‑school options.
